EasyJet expands its services
No-frills airline easyJet is to take holidaymakers to three new destinations from this summer.
Travellers will be able to fly to Pula in Croatia and Preveza in Greece from London Gatwick, and to Monastir in Tunisia from Stansted.
With the new services, there will be more than 170,000 easyJet flights to and from UK airports between March 29 and October 24.
The additions also mean that the carrier will operate services to 118 different destinations.
There will be two Airbus A319 services to Pula a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays from June 23 to October 24, with one-way fares starting from £40.99. Pula is the largest city in the Croatian region of Istria.
Another two Airbus A320 flights will head to Preveza every week from May 17 to October 21, flying on Wednesdays and Sundays. A one-way flight will cost from £44.99. Preveza is an historic city to the north west of Greece.
As for Monastir, the flights starting at £38.99 one-way will also operate twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Monastir is a city and major tourist resort on the central coast of the North African country.
The new flights show easyJet is committed to expanding its services, according to its UK director Sophie Dekkers. She expects the new destinations to be very popular with holidaymakers.
