Just in time for the school holidays, from now until 18th August 2015, travellers on the London Underground can withdraw Euros at improved rates from Raphaels Bank cash points in partnership with its sister company ICE – International Currency Exchange.
To celebrate its second summer providing Euros on the Tube, Raphaels has cut its margins on cash delivered through their cashpoints giving travellers instant access to Euros in a choice of over 70 tube stations. For example, the rate on 16th July 2015 was 1.40.
Customers simply put in their debit or credit card* and enter the amount of Euros they would like to withdraw and the ATM will show the exchange rate and the sterling amount that will be charged to them. They then have the option to proceed or cancel the transaction.
Euro withdrawals are commission free and offer users of the underground instant access to cash on the way to the airport, Eurostar terminal, home or work, rather than being limited to the usual opening hours of Banks and high street outlets for foreign currency.
A website has also been created to make it easier for customers in London to find their nearest Euro dispensing ATM on the Underground – available at cashpointcompass.co.uk.
